What will you do as a Swim Instructor?
- The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
- Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
- Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
- Ensure swimmer safety
What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?
- Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
- WSI certification preferred
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
- Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
- DEPENDABILITY is a core value and a key part of the trust we build with one another and the families that we serve. Our small team requires consistent attendance to scheduled shifts is expected and I want to be upfront about this as dependability is one of the most important factors in long-term success on our team.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
